Im looking at buying a 04 screw lariat 4x4 that has a 8 rize lift with newish 37 toyo mt's and 20 mazzi hulks and it looks killer!! It has 76,000 miles and seems to be running fine! He wants 20k for it, does that seem like a good deal? This is my first ford so any advice appreciated...

 

Sounds terribly expensive to me.. Ultimately it's worth what you are willing to pay.. Mistake most people "assume" when they go to sell, is that aftermarket modifications increase value, when personally they reduce value just because you don't know who installed it, how it's been maintained, etc.

 

Private party book is around 18k. I personally wouldn't pay that much for an 8 year old truck with a first-year engine.
