2.5in level 35in tire?
2.5in level 35in tire?
hey i have a 04 and im about to install the rough country 2.5 in the fron and 1 in the rear and i was wondering if that would clear 315 70 17s with out a problem? and if anyone has any pics of their truck with that set up id like to see it thank you
Depending on how aggressive of tire tread and the backspace of wheels you have it should be fine. Stock wheels or aftermarket wheels with close to the same backspace should be ok. Stock wheels with aggressive mud lugs may rub on the a-arms.
17x8.5 with 5.5" backspace / 35"BFG KM2 = No issues

20x9 with 5.9" backspace / 285/65/20 BFG KM = No issues

Just curious as to why you would want to go 35 then?
Are you 4wd or 2wd? It can be done, depends on the tire, factory or nonfactory wheels.. Trimming, etc.. If you are on the roads a lot, I would suggest if you want a more aggresive stance going with a 33" tire..
4wd

I say 33s, if you are doing a lot of road driving.. Less weight=better gas mileage, cheaper tires, still look aggressive and aren't as difficult to fit in.. a nice 33x12.5 MT would look really mean and not kill you.
