So maybe someone could shed some light on this issue im having, I have a 2005 F150 FX4 an im having an issue were while accelerating the truck is hesitating an then the CEL starts flashing an the truck runs real ruff then after a min. or so the light goes off an the truck runs normal again, an when i hook it up to the scanner there are no codes. Any help would be much appreciated.......

 

More than likely a light misfire that is bad enough for the computer to notice but not bad enough to trigger a code

 

I think a flashing cel is an emissions code? Mine did that when it was time to change the spark plugs.
