Price of Roush Supercharger for 05 f150

Hello All
I currently have a 2005 F150 supercrew w/ the 5.4l triton.
I have seen all over the internet that people are saying the Roush Superchargers (non intercooled) have been on sale all over for $2,000-$2,200. EVERYWHERE I look both the intercooled and non intercooled kits are 4-5K+ Is there anyone that can send a link or some info about obtaining a kit for the $2,200 range.

Also do you think it is smart to put a Roush Supercharger on a 05 w/ 115xxx miles on it? I got the 100K mile tuneup (new cops and full tuneup) and I change the oil every 3k miles as well as rotate my tires. I have a 3'' level kit on it now w/ 35x12.50x20's and soon plan to put a 6'' lift and 37's. The reason for the supercharger is because the trucks slow as **** lol. The truck also has an extended warranty which I believe the Roush charger would not void if installed at the dealership. Any opinions would greatly be appreciated

Thank you for your time, and advice.

Super charger on an engine with 115k on it..I wouldn't. Pricey investment for power boost. Try a programer. I use a Gryphon and love it. Programers seem to let the beast out of these engines.

Just my opinion

enjoy

Thank you, i was originally looking at the edge evolution programmer but i saved a lot more money than i was expecting from this deployment which made we want to go with a sc instead. The high mileage (although the motor has been very reliable thus far considering the horror stories i have heard with other 05's) is the biggest concern to me. If i go that route ill have to make sure the motor is covered under the warranty if charged

You need to regear the truck or you are goin to kill your transmission with those tires and a supercharger.

Thats what i am thinking but it was on multiple f150 forums where people were saying it, also there was a few used for sale chargers for around the 2k range which made me believe that is was possibly true. thanx

Roush was clearing them out in about 09, same time everyone was getting the grills for 60. Haven't seen that price in a couple years. Try roush overstock on eBay.
