Thanks for posting. I have a 1 inch daystar kit on the way and your video will no doubt be a huge help.

That's what it's all about. Glad I could help in any small way.

Forgive my ignorance, but with all the talk of "leveling" I've been reading I am still not sure what is being achieved. Does leveling improve the handling of a truck or is it purely a cosmetic modification?

It definitely doesn't improve handling (not that you'd notice any decrease in handling), but I guess technically it does give you more ground clearance, and room for adding larger tires.

Now, for the most part, it's done for looks. That's the main reason I did it. It was well worth the $60 to have my truck look the way it should look. Nothing against 2WD trucks, but if I wanted mine to look like one, I would have bought one. * shrug *

Thanks. I'm not a hardcore off-road guy or I'd have gone with a 4WD. I just enjoy the convenience of being able to haul some loads from time to time and I like my positrac rear for the soft dirt I encounter on farm roads. Bye the way: excellent job on creating a nice teaching film.

Thanks! Yea I'm not a hardcore off-road guy either, but I do go off-road now and then. The main reason I bought a 4x4 though is for the snow (NY).

I'm not worried about boots tearing from a 2" lift. That's a long shot. And even if they did, I'd gladly replace them instead of looking at my truck every day the way it looks. lmao
