My 2011 Mods. -- 56K modem users warning... Pic heavy :)

So, I bought my 2008 STX in February, and have made some mods to it over the year. Here is a year in review. Enjoy and, if you feel inclined, post your mods for the year!

The truck before I bought it (from CarMax's ad)

First mod: Swapped wheels and tires with the old man from my previous truck, Added a BugFlector

Second mod: Fuel Pump Driver Module

Third mod: New Tailgate

Fourth mod: New door handles (painted with chrome buckets)

Fifth mod: Lakeland Omega Tonneau cover

Sixth mod: Turn signal mirrors with painted caps

Seventh mod: Bambi committed suicide into my fender...

Eighth mod: Replaced fender, removed chrome step bars, swapped back to original wheels, and removed pinstripe

Just removing the pin stripe makes it look 10x better.

Has an understated classy look to it and thats my favorite color offer for our gen trucks.

What size are those firestone's? They look beefy but not stuffed without a leveling kit.

Like the grey wheels better than the XL-styled wheels that were in a couple of pics. I've got the Lariat wheels on the STX, and I think it looks good...probably because they match my truck's color lol

they're 265-70-17's. They're bigger than stock, but not big enough to require a level.

those other wheels were actually off of a 2004 STX that I had bought for my 2006 XL that I used to have to replace the crappy stealies that it had stock. I swapped those on to this truck for a while, but they didn't have TPMS sensors, so I swapped them back and threw new Firestones on them.

yeah, thank god for eraser wheels... haha

when i put the new fender on, I had to get rid of the stripe, since the new fender didn't have it. I would have done it sooner, but I waited til' that was done.

i wish. after seeing the quality of the parts, the time it has taken to get them to look halfway decent, and the fact that i have a 6.5' bed... i don't have faith in them to deliver something that wouldn't cost me a fortune to install.

maybe i'll just trade up to a raptor someday.

thanks. my dad is driving the XL now, bought it off me when I got this truck.

He wanted to sell it recently, but since XL's aren't worth much, I'll end up with it again one day, i have a feeling... would be hard to see it go too.
