100K Mile Mark?

I came across a '06 XLT Screw 5.4L and it has just over 80,000 on it and has never had any issues to date and I was curious if the 100K mile mark means as much as it used to? I have a '92 and I purchased that while in school and it was just over that mark and I had to put in a lot of time and money on the front end and under the hood. I am assuming that obviously the newer f150s are not made the way the older ones were, but I would like to know of any issues people have been having and what mileage they have been occurring? I am looking to get a good 3 - 5 years on this next truck without any extra major investment regarding replacement and breakdowns, just wondering if truck like this is a good option or not?

Thanks in advance for any/all responses!

All 100k means these days is a relatively expensive preventative maintenance requirement.

Spark plugs, diff/tranny/TC fluid replacement, etc.
