Ordered a ARE Hard Tonneau today!

I have always wanted an ARE Hard Locking color matchting tonneau cover & today I ordered the ARE LSX Series painted in Truxedo Black to match my 2008 Harley Davidson F-150. Should arrive in 3 weeks since they are built to order. I also am having them install the plastic black rear wheel well liners that they had in the shop for sale. Truck will be done after that.....

I also have an ARE LSX on my 2007 Harley F-150. It rubbed the paint off the box all around the edge. Hope you have better luck with yours.

I asked the installers about that today! The LSX is trimless & fits perfectly on the stock protective bedrails. Also it has adjusters that keep it fitting right. You might not have it installed properly.

Nice RI, I hope to add one to my FX4 one day. They sure do look good on these trucks.

Same here, the previous owner didn't adjust them and it chipped some of my paint Better keep an eye on that. Going to replace mine with a hard fold able one that locks.

The installer advised me that the LSX series they are installing on the truck will fit perfectly & will not be anywhere near the paint on the truck after they install it....

How can it rub the paint off of the box when it mounts on the top of the stock bed rails that come with the truck & closes no where near the paint? I saw one that was installed at the store on a F-150....Its not on the paint at all....

I have an ARE LSII and have not had any rubbing issues like that. It has been on the truck 6 years now with no problems.
