Where to purchase a window regulator assembly

Well, it looks like I have to replace the window regulator assembly on my 2004 F150 (Lariat, 5.4 Triton). This is for the rear passenger side door.

I called a local dealer, and they want $180 plus tax (he didn't have an aftermarket in stock). There seem to be quite a few online stores selling the part for a good amount cheaper, but I've never purchased from any of them and I'm a little wary of the process.

Replacing the window regulator assembly seems to be a common thing for this year, so for those of you who have had the pleasure of this experience, where did you purchase your part, for how much, and would you recommend them?

Any thoughts on these guys?

Seems to be a good deal for an OEM.

Again, this is my first time doing this, so any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Adam

I paid $125 at AutoZone for a Dorman. It is guaranteed for life. The Dorman is built better than the OEM, in my opinion. I've installed both.

Did you have the reverse polarity issue that I've read about?

No, it worked great. I think that was on thier early units and they fixed it. I was prepared to deal with it, but had no problem. I needed one in a hurry, so was glad to find it at the local parts store at night. Turned out it was heavier built than the OEM and guaranteed for life.

Doorman is making them aftermarket, or TASCA Ford will get you the part for 40 percent off list plus shipping

I have seen Motorcraft regulators with core charges lately, buyer beware

I bought mine from O'reillys and don't have any complaints.
