All you're hearing from me is healthy skepticism because you are relying on the dash readout to quote mpg's. Trust me, the math is simple and yields accurate results. The dash display almost always gives overly-positive results. I'm not saying you don't have a good truck, or that the mods don't help mileage. I'm just saying that 21mpg is pretty optimistic all said and done. 20mpg takes a light foot, lower than 65mph, and the aide of a tailwind!

Like I said a little over 1 off with the math. Anyways anyone know about lowering the rear end? I want to drop the rear end to be level with the front. How many inches would I need to go? Eibach has a rear drop kit 1" for $80. Need to know if that would make it level with the front.

Just ordered JBA shorty stainless silver ceramic coated headers, smoked front lights, black rear leds including 3rd tail light.

Most people lift the front to match, not lower the rear. Search for leveling kits.

I don't want to lift the front to level it with the back. I want to drop the rear to level it with the front. Make it look like it's lowered with out actually lowering it all. It's two wheel drive so lifting the front would not look right. Like I said eibach makes a shackle kit to drop the rear an inch. All I want to know is will an inch be enough to level it with he front? Because I don't want a whole lowering kit because it drops it 2" in the front and 4" in the rear. I don't want it that low. The full kits being two and four inches makes me think I'd need to two inches in the rear to level it. Anyone know if one inch would be enough?

Well, leveling kits raise the front 2-2.5", so I would be guessing you'd need to drop the rear that much. I'm not sure what 2WD has to do with anything, but whatever. Your move.

Two wheels drives don't look good with front leveled because it gives it the lifted appearance. Which I think is ugly on 2wd. Rather drop the back to level it and give it a lowered appearance.

I guess I'll look into lowering kits that lower it not as much as 2/4.

Once I put on the shorties I'll take some sounds clips. And put some new pics after I put the new lights on.
