fuel injector question

Ok guys so i have this 2004 stx (new body) in Mexico that i use whenever i go to my grandpas ranch. Anyways lately its been having issues and my dad diagnosed it as a fuel injector issue. I'm confident its a 5.4 2v but the dealership keeps me the stx didn't have 5.4 i don't have the VIN number handy hopefully i can get it soon. In the meanwhile can anyone confirm this?

Pretty sure its a 4.6 2v........not unless its a lobo version only available in Mexico....ford likes to do that from time to time....

Try running some techron to clean the fuel system......

Maybe the throttle body and maf need to be cleaned also .......fuel filters need to be changed every once in a while also.....

hmm its probably going to be a 4.6 unless it got a motor swap or something because we bought that one in vegas... I'm going this weekend and i don't wanna spend my whole time trying to fix it so I'm gonna take an injector just in case. First I have to call my uncle and have him go out and verify what motor it has.

is it hard to clean the MAF? the xlt i have here acts up from time to time and i believe it might be the MAF.

Also the IAC can be temperamental if it needs to be cleaned ......

whoops didn't see that. Any idea why my truck has a slight shake at idle? its not throwing any codes and it doesn't do it all the time just from time to time.

Could be a weak miss from the cops(coil on plug)......they may need to be changed .....check ebay stores for good economically priced ones.....global or uneek .....
