Grinding from front passanger side

I'm a nub to this forum, so please bear with. I just got part of my steering column replaced, drove off the lot yesterday, 15 minutes later heard a grinding from the passenger side. Got home, checked pads and rotors, looked worn, but still good. Drove a bit more. The grinding will stop in 4wd, begin in 2wd. I have it down to the hub, but here's the problems:
1. Does anyone think a vacuum line could have been damaged during the steering repair,
2. If it is the hub, can I put manual lockouts? Called a few placed and they seemed to think I couldn't. Problem is, the auto locking cost too much.

Thanks

Its the iwe hub or actuator......

No manual hubs are available for these trucks.....

OP, to Q#1, possibly. That would be the cheapest and easiest fix.

Fixed

Thanks again ya'll. The vacuum diagram helped a lot. Traced the lines and found that the shop must have disconnected a vacuum line. Put back on, runs fine. Thanks for the free fix!
