Drive shaft flange

Anyone ever had to replace their drive shaft flange?

Any reason one off a 8.8 wouldnt work on a 9.75? I can't find it on Tasca or rockauto but found one online for a 8.8

I'm going to try to get under my truck tonight to measure it, but that isnt easy

And to answer why I need to replace it is because I have a driveline rattle at highway speeds when I let off and when i went to replace u joints. I could just about push the old one out by hand

Have you tried places like Summit Racing? They have alot of stuff.

I don't think the 8.8 will work. Check the bolt pattern real close and the recess in the center where it mates up.

I'd keep looking. Might also try a couple of rear end type shops, as it is a related part.

Good luck.
