Is that what I need in order to make use of the aux input button on my stock head unit on my 2004 F150?? Seems pricey. Is this the only way to do it?

Good question. I'm looking to do this in my Ranger, it only has a CD player, and my F150's aux input spoiled me... hopefully someone knows.

Yep, that will work as long as you do not have the OEM Sirius sat module. The aux button will control the the input. If you have an iPhone/iPod, there's the more sophisticated iSimple that let's you control it from the HU but it's more expensive.
