Ok my neighbor gave me a programmer for my 2005 f150 4X4 4.6. It’s an evolution edge is there anything I need to worry about before plugging it into my truck. Is there a cd that comes with it, I plugged it into my computer to see if it powers up. There was nothing, will it only power if it’s plugged into the truck. Any feedback would be great thanks.

 

Ask him if he returned his truck to the stock tune before he gave it to you. If he didn't, it's useless to you.
