I was going to change the xfer case fluid....but

So I got under the truck with a couple allen/plug key sizes to test out fitment. While I was under the truck (first time since I bought it two weeks ago) I noticed a rather bad leak coming from what is probably the rear main seal between the bell housing and 5.4

This threw off my entire MAN ONLY (wife is out of town) weekend of xfer case fluid, front diff, oil change, then playing gran tourismo 5 until my eyes bleed.

The truck has 119k on it so I expect a few thing to go wrong, luckly I have a full bumper to bumper warranty that starts Oct, they are already going to fix the blend door actuator, replace my passenger side header (exhaust leak) and I guess we will throw this in there as well.....

I do not see any indicator of oil being leaked when looking at the dip stick so it must be a pretty slow leak but oh well. The more they can replace under my $100 deductible the better

Changed out the transfer case fluid...black and stinky. I thought I had a master plan with using a del taco 44 oz cup with a large hole in the bottom to sheer the fluid away from the cross member....lol it just ended up going everywhere. Tomorrow morn will be the front diff.

All that is left after that is the spark plugs (currently running b12 through a few tanks to loosen deposits), fuel filter which is cheap and easy, and getting the exhaust and oil leak squared away.
