04 F-150 problem!

Have a 04 F-150, 4.6l V8. Have had a check engine light on for a month or so. My problem is when i slow down to make a turn, or slow to a stop the truck dies. Have replaced the fuel filter, completed the relearn for the throttle control per Owners Manual. In park it rev's up and down sometimes low enough to die.
I called the dealer and had my VIN ran to make sure my truck has a IAC, the new body style is NOT equipped from what the dealer told me. the code AutoZone gave me was P0506

ANY help would be great.......thanks guys

I was having this issue and took it to the dealer because no one could figure it out.. The dealer took 5 days to figure it out and they tried everything from a throttle body, to a cranshaft sensor, to sayin the PCM went bad.. I told them for 2 days to reflash the PCM and they did and it corrected the issue... But i got a Lean CODE about a day later because the MAF was so dirty from all the crap they did..

I would first pull the throttle body and MAF and clean both of them.. then reset your PCM and you should be good.

A P0506 with an electronic throttle Ford is *usually* a problem with the throttle body and/or TPS.
