New tow mirrors, light bar, lights, and custom emblem. Updated Pics

It's been a while since posting some updated pics so figured it's about time. Somebody was so kind to rip the front half of my driver side mirror off while it was parked at home depot a month ago, so figured since I needed a new mirror I might as well get the tow mirrors (power, heat, signal, and puddle). I've also added a smittybilt light bar with Hella 700s and sanded my emblem down to the bone (which pretty much looks like brushed silver in case you were wondering) and did a little custom paint on it. Lift, tires, and rims have just passed the 1 year mark and everything is doing awesome. Hope you enjoy the pics...

Mirror missing front cap

New mirrors installed (1 hour install time)

Inside

Before the mirrors, good comparison shot to a stock 2wd

Also before the mirrors... my 2 babies

I like!!

Where did you pick up those Tow Mirrors I have search but must be doing something wrong because the ones I come up with are not what I am looking for. I have known they exist but every time I run a search it gives me the longer ones that are just plain ugly.

It's actually made by Ford so just type in Ford OEM Tow mirrors and you should be able to get some of these mirrors.

No its a whole new assembly that has to be wired in and all. From what I have seen its pretty easy to do.

Looks good!

I see you have an STX w/ factory power mirrors too. To get the power to work on the tow mirrors, do you have to do anything? I remember reading something about moving a pin in the connector, but can't remember if that was to get power or blinker to work.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback!

From what I figured out, I guess on the 04-07s you have to do some rewiring and moving of pins, but for my 08 it was plug and play. Everything worked with just plugging in the new mirrors, which I was very excited about.

Anyone looking to get these, go through Tasca auto parts, I scooped them up for $154/mirror. Couldn't beat that

Probably because the 2008 was the only year they were available from the factory for that body style.

Are you able to do the power fold on the tow mirrors?

No. They are manual fold/manual extend.
