RMST module location?

I bought a factory remote start/alarm kit for my '08 Supercrew. Anybody know where the control unit mounts?

Most put them under the dash near the steering column, but there is no hard and fast rule as to where it goes. You can put it wherever you desire.

6- that website requires a username and pasword. I have one, but it's expired.

05RedFX4- Yeah I kinda figured out that it can go anywhere.. I was looking for 3 studs to mount it to (there are 3 mounting holes in the unit). I take it this thing has a built in motion detector and they want it where any vibration will be transmitted to it. Thats gonna be kind of a challenge due to the NIGHTMARE of a wiring harness that goes to it.

I laid everything out, separated the harness out to 3 smaller harnesses (drivers kick panel, ignition and defrost/underhood/seat) so I'll be a little better prepared.

Thanks for the hepl guys!
