My wife's 5.4L 3V 2006 Expy started throwing codes (again) this morning on her way to work. She said it was acting like it wanted to stall and idling really rough. When I started it to check the codes I could smell raw gas and got P0175, P0300, P0305 and P0307. This all points to a bad COP, injector and/or plugs on #5 and #7. It had #5 injector changed by the dealer and I replaced all the plugs last year. I took off the oil cap to take a wiff and it seems to have some gas smell. Either way I'm thinking I'm just gonna go ahead and replace all the COPs and injectors on bank 2. I'm now really worried about hydrolock. I'm changing the oil but is there anything else I should do to try and protect the engine from locking up when I next start it up?
