I was hoping someone could help. I have an 04 FX4 crew cab. I have been experiencing some grinding noise in what appears to be the diff, from a start while turning. Any suggestions? Does not usually happen when i am going straight.

 

I have the same problem. All you need is a bottle of Friction modifier/ Friction reducer (whatever it's called) to lubricate your diff. Simple fix.
