Alright,

I know there is an awesome thread on how to replace the axle seals and rear bearings.

I plan on doing this myself in the very near future. I've attached a picture of my rear axle and as you can see, its been leaking for quite some time. I know my parking brake is shot. Based on the attached picture, whats the worse possible case other than a full replacement of the rear need. Do you think, my axle will have any pittings or ridges?
