Changing Interior to leds

Started changing the interior to leds. Finished the drivers master switch. Went with 5mm blue. Damn hard to make fit, will have to reorder in 3mm. Also, red may look better.

Question though, After a 20 min errand run, the buttons were warm. I've never had a led get warm, But this is the first time I've used the flat top wide beam. Do they run hotter? Using 470ohm 1/2 watt.

Decided red looked much better

I did a similar conversion in my Maxima from factory orange to red, entire dash, doors, and cluster, and nothing was ever hot...LED's are made to run efficient and shouldn't put off heat.

^ X2. LED lights are safe, and efficient. And... some people here know how to work with electricity.

I think it would look cool with amber or yellow.

I'm digging the blue, personally...but seeing that blue is my favorite color, I could be biased

Very nice! I def want to do this. Where did you get the LEDs? And was it difficult to install them? Maybe you could post a quick how to?
