Question Wanting to order 4" lift, Help?

Hey guys i'm wanting to order a 4" lift for my april built 04. The thing is rancho makes a different PN for ones built before dec 04. I know the later ones require longer brake lines. My question is if I get the RS6589 will it work on my early 04? It says for early 04's to get the rs6588 but streetsideauto doesnt even carry these.

Also i'd rather my lift be black but for the black they want another 200 dollars! Anyone know whats up with that?

And are these kits complete minus the front shocks? What else would I need? ANY help is appreciated here guys!

If this rancho deal turns out to be too big of a PITA I may just order a RCX lift and call it a day..

Thanks!

As long as you have the new body style truck, and not an 04 heritage, then it will work. I have no clue why the black is $200 more, but it wouldn't be hard to hit them with some black spray paint. You could even get the whole kit powder coated for about $75. You don't need new front shocks with the kit, it is complete with everything you need to lift it 4". As far as where to order it from, I'm not sure about rancho. I believe they are about $1900 anywhere for the red one, and rancho currently has a $500 on any suspension lifts. I know that autoanything carries rancho, and I love dealing with autoanything. I think RCX is cheapest from there company website.
