Rear block question
Haha everytime you put a picture up I run out to my truck with a flashlight and compare measurements. And I don't know about the 06's either haha but its' alright we are talkin 04 and 07 so its all good.
The 4 leafs on my truck measure 2" exactly, yours probably only 1 1/2"?
But I measured from the bottom of the "bump stop" to the top of the "wing" and mine measured a little over 5". I have nothing in the bed and a little under 3/4 of a tank. So I'm guessing that the leaf springs are the problem. I'll probably end up buying a 2wd 1" block with U bolts and level it that way.

Hmm, i was just about to ask about the difference between 04-08 to 09-10 after hearing they came with a 1.5" block, didnt know the 04-05 was differnt aswell. So the 04-05 is actually higher in the back than the 07-08? And are the 09-10 the same hight as 07-08? maybe they went back to the 4 leaf springs? just gee wiz questions

I had a bitch of a time getting the spring to line up with the axle (getting the pins on one side to line up). I explain in the thread what I did.
I went to a tractor trailer repair shop in town and had the same ubolts made for my truck but 2" less. It made me feel better than using the stock bolts with spacers. I liked this way better than installing drop shackles.
