Help with leveling kit for 2007 screw

I want to install a leveling kit for truck above. But after searching I am more confuse then before I started. Some say 2 is max others say 3 is the only way to go. I checked the front to rear difference on my truck and it looks like a little over 2 1/4. I am not a fan of the front being higher then the back. I would like it to be as level as it can be. I have 103000 on the truck. It is 4 wheel drive and has the factory 20 inch wheels. I am not looking to run any thing over a 33 to 34 inch tire on the factory wheels. I like to see a little more rubber then the 265/55/20 are given me now. I like to order some thing soon, so size, make and types(metal/rubber) would be great.
Thanks,
Mark

These are what I have and they are perfect.

They were super easy to install.
I have heard that the 3" will wear on your ball joints faster.
The 2 1/2 made it perfectly level.

So you are not having any rubbing on the control arm? My truck is driven on the highway 90% of the time, so I don't think I will have full droop.

3" puts too much stress on the cv axles and ball joints and will cause premature wear. 2" and 2.5" will work fine. Hell bent steel and autospring are both good kits that are $70 for 2" or 2.5". You can also put some 295/60s on the factory wheels and not rub any.

No rubbing or problems at all. I have 20s with 33s on it now and have been told that I could easily get away with 35s just the way it is right now. I have heard from others with the same set up and 35s that they had to do slight thinking due to rubbing; and others say no rubbing at all.

I'm not sure if there is a difference between models, but, I put a puny 1" Daystar block on my FX4 and it sits as close to level as I can get it. I tried a 2" and a 2 1/2" and the front was just slightly high. I am running 33" on XD Monsters without any problems at all. As far as any rubbing with any leveling kit I believe depends on the Wheel and Tire chosen. I may be wrong here, but that is just my .02

I put an 1 1/2" Auto Spring on my brother inlaws 06 super crew and it sits dead level. when we put the topper on the bed it now sits a little squatted in the rear. So in my opinion no more than 1 1/2" on the 06 and up trucks if your not doing anything to the rear.

If you're going to go more than 1.5" in the front, you'll probably want to get new blocks for the back. If you have a 2WD, you would need 2" blocks, if you have a 4WD, you'll need 4" blocks. Or you could just do an add-a-leaf in the back, but it will make the ride a bit harsher.

Rule of thumb is 2.5" for the 2004-05 trucks and 2" for the 2006-08 trucks. However, every truck is different. The only way to know what you will need for your truck is to measure it.

X2 on 2 inch for 06-08. That's what I have on my 06,and it sat dead level measured from top of tire to wheelwell. Photos in my profile. Another option besides aal or block is airbags. Not sure if u tow or haul much.

I got a 2" AS level for my 2007. I got the powdercoated version, and after shipping it only cost me $90. It looks like their prices have increased since I purchased, but they are still only $75 for the non powdercoated. They sell through eBay FYI.

BTW, I do have minor rubbing at full lock when pulling into or out of an incline like a driveway, my tires are 305/65R18 BFG A/T. They are 33.7 inches tall, and 12.2 inches wide.

3" HBS on the truck

1.5 AS on the truck now. I like it WAY better. Sits down just a bit in the front but if I had to do it again I may go with a 2". That should make it sit dead level.

overall I'm very happy with it now. When I now tow, it doesnt look like my truck is overloaded with only two 50# bags of sand in the bed.
