I had the exact same issue with my front passengers door, thought it was the regulator. After my truck got broken into I had the window and regulator replaced but that didn't work. Took it into the local STEALership and turned out it was a wiring issue. Of course they disassembled the wrong door so I had to pay even more, but got it fixed. If you get a wiring diagram you can do it yourself.
