electrical issues!!!

I have a 2004 F-150 XLT 4.6L and as of late I am experiencing some odd electrical issues. When starting my truck it will crank over, but immediately after the gauge cluster needles flicker for a while before they actually start read properly. During that process, the A/C will sound like its dying off then it will resume its normal operating level that it's set to and then the truck will run fine after that. I have a 75 month batter that was installed in Nov '07, however I live in Tucson, AZ where the heat is extreme so something tells me that maybe the battery is going?? Also, today (prior to this post) I went to unlock my doors by hitting the passenger side door unlock button and I heard a noise then the switch stopped working. Truck was slow to crank over, but once it did all functions started working again. What it is going on here? Alternator, Battery, GEM... Also, no lights are coming on indicating a "fault". The only light I have is an ABS light which I have had for about 4 years now. Any help on this would be great! No more warranty either so its coming out of my hide no matter what the cost is..

Get your battery tested, it's quick and free. You can't go wrong.
