STX 4x4 system, IWE's?

I searched for this but couldn't find anything.

Is the 4x4 system for the STX the same as the others, with the IWE's that is?
Obviously I have a transfer case shift lever, so no **** to deal with. But does it still have the same hub actuators, etc??

Thanks

Yes.

The floor shift 4x4 is not exclusive to the STX, it was also available on the XL and XLT trims.

The 4x4 system on your truck is the same as everybody else ,it's just that you don't have Shift on The Fly, you have to stop first.

They are mechanically the same. You can shift on the fly in 4H, but must be stopped for shifting into 4L. Read your owners manual...

The only difference between the ESOF and the anual TC lever on the tunnel is that with ESOF, a small electric motor moves the shift fork. So as has already been said, you can shift them both the same. And as for possible IWE issues, they are the same too.
