Gonna bite the spark plug bullet soon
Gonna bite the spark plug bullet soon
Any advice? I am taking it in to a dealer. Anybody know a good one in Birmingham, AL?
What should I expect to hear when I call to ask for a quote? I am going to ask if they are aware of the latest TSB and what their history is with them, but I would like some people on here that can reference a good dealer.
Here's the bad part:
She has almost 110,000 miles on her. Forgive me, I have been a poor college student since I bought it in December of 08. Now I am a poor working man, and I figure it would make it at least run smoother and up my gas mileage/power a bit.

plug change did nothing for my previous engine. still had the rough idle, low power and ticking and tapping noises. my new engine however sounds great just gotta find some power. he broke one plug on mine, changed at 95,000. i will be running some bk44 thru mine for a tank before i do another plug change. there was alot of carbon on the broken plug that maybe can be removed with the bk44. not sure ,but thats what im gonna do.. my local shop was going to do it for 300 bucks untill one broke and then it jumped to almost 600 bucks. good luck.
I had very good results after changing my plugs. Can't say on the price though they all seem to be different. My dealership wanted $750 with new boots and no broken plugs. I couldn't get a price out of him for a broken plug. I ended up doing it myself for $210.
