DTC Code P0620??? Please Help!!!!

DTC Code P0620??? Please Help!!!!
Just replaced the battery and the altenator. The battery light still on and "check charging system" message keeps appearing. checked for codes, receiving DTC code P0620 (generatiing control circuit). Attempted to clear it but it keeps coming back.
Any help or advice?
Truck is an 08 SCREW Lariat 5.4L 4X4.

I'd take the alternator back and get another one. Could simply be a defective part.
Of course, I'm assuming you've already checked the basic stuff. Making sure the wiring connector and positive cable are secure.
