2005 F150 EATC Issue
2005 F150 EATC Issue
Forgive me if this has been posted before, but I've spent the entire evening searching this and other sites, and haven't found much info.
I have a 2005 F150 with EATC. During the past two summers, occasionally the AC blower motor would turn itself all the way to 'high' on it's own, then would not shut off when I turned off the EATC module. The only way to get the fan to shut off has been to turn off the ignition and restart the vehicle.
I'm totally perplexed on this. As I understand it, there are no resistors within the blower housing itself as their are in the manual climate control vehicles. Also of note is that this issue has never occurred while using the heat - only while running the AC.
Any ideas? I'm really hoping it's not the EATC module itself.
