J.Walton's build thread (pic heavy)

So I bought this truck in October 2009, it looked like this.Has a " Executive Off Road" package on it.

I knew it looked goofy with the flares but I knew one day they would look good on it. I hated the chrome and started working to get it all gone as soon as I could. I removed it from the door handles first. then I moved to the grill and grill surround.

had the surround ptm and the chrome grill insert removed

Next I installed tow mirrors and Rhino liner on my bumpers, rockers, flares, step bars, and gas cap

I installed a extang trifecta and bed lights.

Then I got my sickhids.com lights in!

Installed a system, 2 jl 10s, polk audio door speakers with dynamat, 2 jl amps, and a 7" head unit

PTM badges!

Then I started on my Nathan K5LA train horns with a 8.5 gal tank and 2 480C compressors and a air guage mounted in a roush f150 air vent pod. It all lifts into place with the spare tire cable.

Installed a 2.5 leveling kit and 35" Federal M/T's

Saleen grill installed

Tucking 35s on 20s with the 2.5 leveling kit

6" rough country lift goes on!

troyer efans go in!

Flex with the lift

Waiting on the mini cooper to get done getting gas. lol

Finally the Fuel Off Road Octane wheels came in! 20x9, 4.5 back space.

Well thats it so far guys. I currently have 4 Hella 500FF lights that have been converted to 6000k HIDs that will go on a light bar on the front, and I have some sportsman seat covers ordered, and some custom 4x4 bed stickers, here is a preview

I have always wanted a truck that was a attention getter, it wasnt till the wheels went on, well and the horn. lol

Not in this post is my stitching in my seats and amps behind the seat, they are in my album.

Also have 5% tint all the way around, 50% on the windshield, Gryphon with 2 custome tunes, K&N filter, weather tech floor mats, craven speed stubby antenna, and all lights converted to LED/ HID, even puddle lamps in tow mirrors. lol may have forgot some small things but I cant think of them now.

Tell me what you think!

Looks much better than when you got it! What kind of bed lights did you get? Also on your headlights...you have a projector for the main bulb...what about for the turn signal...is it stock or a projector too?

DANG! I did forget the bosh Icon wiper blades! well worth it! lol

The headlights have real projectors in them , the turn signals have a glass lends over them to resemble a projector, it does focus the lights some but isnt a " projector"

They are z4 products bed lights, one of the best 50 bucks I have spent!
