hello,
i started having problems with my control **** for my HVAC. my level selector (1 through 4) seemed to have broke somehow? it will only run on 4 for my A/C or heat? it turns fine with no catch or hang up?
anyone else experience this or know the fix?

If the fan only runs on 4, your blower motor resistor has went out. It should be located close to the blower motor held in with 2 screws and a plug.

do i just take this resistor to NAPA or is this a dealer only item?

im assuming the blower motor is on the passenger side floor? maybe i should pull the resistor and look at mine.

 

That's the best thing to do. Pull your old one out so you can compare what you get. I've never had to pull mine out on my 05, but I did on my 87. It should be real close to the blower motor itself.
