The dealer should of known what they were selling, and not just say "Oh its an FX4, see it has a sticker". Hope you can work something out.
I also "should have known," but I'm inexperienced in buying cars, and I trusted the dealer. Learned that lesson.

I still haven't heard back from them. I'll call again today right before lunch.

you should be calling every couple of hours until you get this resolved. Just because they say he might not be in, does not mean they cant get a hold of him.

what extra features? a fx4 is no more capable offroad than an equally equipped 4x4. now the truck you bought has a weaker rear end, smaller motor, etc but stock to stock they will be very close to equal offroad assuming they both have the LS in the rear.

It does have LS, but the difference is the smaller motor, weaker rear, and absence of skidplates. FX4s have skidplates to protect all undercarriage components. I won't ever abuse this truck enough to break even the weaker rear, nor will I run it over any rocks rough enough to bust an oil pan or transfer case. I'd actually rather have the smaller 4.6 because it's less hassle. At this point, all I want is my extra money back.

I'm calling in a little bit to set up my air bag recall and I'll talk to him then.
