Check Valve

Keeping it short because I know how much people love to talk/read about IWE problems. I can blow air through both ways on my check valve near the IWE solenoid(one seems a LITTLE less than the other). Should there be NO air going through? I am hoping someone tells me yes so I can have a $5 fix. Long weekend and I can't locate one of these for a few days, otherwise I wouldn't be asking. Thanks!

I got the new solenoid yesterday and today it was pouring rain, I opened my hood and water starts pouring on the solenoid 'hat'. What a design from the factory lol.

Check valves should be "one way" only...
