I'm about to install a set of 2009 Side Mirrors on my 2008 F150 and wanted to see if the connector/plug is the same or if I have to do any mods. the factory and the newer factory side mirrors are power/ heated/ signal operated.

The connector should be the same. You might have to switch some of the wires around to make it work though. Did the upgrade today to 2009 style mirrors on my 2006 today.

 

Yeah when i did mine i went to a junk yard found a set of my exact year model truck pulled the harness out of the mirrors opened up the 09+ mirrors answer swapped harnesses it was a little extra work but at least i knew they would work and they do.

 

2007 and 2008 trucks have the same mirror wiring as the 2009's.

2006s and earlier require a wire or two to be moved.
