Cam Phasers vct solenoid
I have a 05 expedition with the 5.4ltr. Replaced the cam Phasers this week end and the vct solenoid. The natorious ticking noise is officially GONE...
it cost me $550 in parts with discount it beats $2000-$2500 if you can find a ford delership to do the work. My expedition has 120k on it.

I had the passenger side only done at the dealer for $900. Since then it appears that I have lost 1 mpg, 13.2 -> 12.2. I'm curious if you notice any change in mileage. One would think that it would get better?
