New rim problem

Just got new rims and one of my rear ones
Is leaking little less than 1/2 pound each day
Is something tha will stop or is it a bad valve or something?

Thanks

Could be the valve stem, could be a bad seal around the bead somewhere. Take it right back to the place that mounted the tire / wheel and have them fix it.

That is what I thought hopefully the rim is ok.
My pressure gauge went south on me just got a new one reads in 1/10
The other 3 rise and fall with temp within about 2/10 of each other but that one is slowly dropping about 1/2 pound a day

It's probably the valve stem like mlamprey said. This happened on my daughter's jeep when we put new tires on, the new valve stem didn't get seated properly and it leaked about 5 lbs of air per week. They should stand behind their work and charge you nothing.

Thats sucks, never seen a rim with a hole in it before.

Seen them not seal good, seen the VS not seal good as well, but never a hole.

Take a picture of it, I want to see it.

They said they took a picture for the company they bought it from I will see if I can get it from them. was leaking about 1/2 pound a day or so. Hopefully I will not have to wait long for new one they went ahead and put it back on I just need to air it a little every couple of days.

Update well dealership talked to wheel place, they did not believe it so we called eagle and they asked if it was a black rim and is was, they said that happens sometimes something with about the way they are checked for defects the black coating sometimes hides a defect when they are checked. They said to call the wheel place and have them call eagle.
They did and my new wheel is on the way.
