Question Rubbing bad NEED help! :-/

I have a 2004 F-150 with a 6" Fabtech and 2" coil spring spacers with an add a leaf in back.. I bought 22X11 Fuel Offroad wheels with a -24 offset on my 37" Nitto Trail Grapplers.. In the picture i will try to post..lol cuz im new at this forum...you will be able to see how far i can turn with my lift i have now... The reason i ordered it with the offset and felt sure it would work was, one of my friends has the same truck lift and spacers as me, he used a 20X10 -24 offset with 37" and doesnt rub a bit, he only trimmed a lil..... Obviosuly this 1" difference has got me screwed....

I took it to a body shop to have it trimmed and they would not trim because they said in order to make it work they would have to cut so far they would be into the front corner of the cab....

So..... The big question is....... I want a suspension lift and do not like the looks of a body lift, so im assuming i sell my Fabtech and go with a bigger lift??? If so... What lifts are out there?! All i have found is a Rize 8" and keep my 2" spacers.......

Why not get wheels with less offset. Your offset is almost 3" from stock.

Are you 2wd? If so your only option is a body lift

I have found my solution... Im 4wd, but im going to go with a narrower wheel and a -18 offset... I will have these wheels for sale but its going to take and 8-10" lift for someone to be able to run them...

Going from -24 mm to -18 mm is only a 6 mm (.25") difference from where you are now (-24--18 = 6). Putting that tire on a narrower rim is only going to change the cross section width, which probably isn't wear it's rubbing. If it's the tread that's making contact, I don't think you're going to do much to correct the problem. I think you need to be around 0 offset to +10 mm which would be in line with Fabtech's 315-70/17 on a 8" rim with 5" of backspacing. That equates to +12 mm by my estimates. With a taller, wider tire, you may still need to trim something, but your moving your tire back under the fender by almost 1.5" from where you are now.

Your calculations are exact.. I put my old wheels and tires back on... They are 22" akuza dominions with a +35 and on 37" they dont rub one bit, well the did before i put the coil spacers on... What im basing my assumption on is my friends truck with 20X10 -24 offset on 37" and he only had small trimming to do.... Same truck same lift everything is the same....
