Limp home mode?

On my '04 with the 5.4 the wrench warning light came on and the manual says that means the truck goes into limp home mode. I got it checked out and replaced bad sensors but it's still on and the truck doesn't run as smooth as it did. Is there a way to reset it or is there something else that might be wring with it? Any help would be appreciated.

try unplugging the battery for 15 minutes to reset your computer

You need to get codes checked. You may have a throttle body or an injector issue.

like is said...you can disconnect the battery and let it sit, will reset the computer.

But if it is still in limp mode you probably have something going on still. Try cleaning your throttle body, MAF sensor, change your fuel filter and see if that fixes the issue. If not you may have a bigger issue going on.

Who did the work? The Dealership can turn off the light when the reset the computer. Mine did the same thing and they told me it was the programmer. Luckily Edge paid for my reflash fee and swapped out my programmer.
