Exclamation 2005 FX4 Trans slipping bad!

My 2005 FX4 is slipping at take-off! Any advice/suggestions??

86k with a flush at the dealer at 54k. Fluid looks OK on the stick.

Further testing shows its slipping everywhere. If I get it up to speed it seems to slip in all gears, even with OD off.
NO grinding or weird noises. It can engage....but doesn't really want to.

BBBah! Need the truck for a trip next Thursday too!

Any help appreciated. Searched and found very little.

Already dropped it off. Estimate: $1800, includes removing/installing in truck.

It went from hero to zero in a lunch run!

Really happy. Shifts firm. Feels right.

They showed me all the stuff that came out. Some drum and plates, and a clip that was going to let loose soon. I guess a seal cuts something and it just goes out. Common he says. I'm sure I worded that all wrong too.

Come to find out guys brother worked for my uncle. He is buddies with one of my dirt biking buddies dads. His son has a storage unit at MY storage units. And he rebuilt my buddies Chevy 1500 tranny 10 years ago....still going. He has been doing it 35 years. Small world though!

Dropped it off at 3pm Tues, and he called at 11am today!
