08 Shifter adjustment

08 Shifter adjustment

Where is the adjustment for the shifter indicator on a 08 f150? I think this is my problem

Remove the plastic below your cluster To expose it. There is an In-line adjuster btw the colum shifter and your little plastic indicator. It's basically a little wire that shuttles back and forth

I just snaked my hand up there from under the dash. Ended up having to go under the truck and adjust the linkage on the tranmission then come back up and match the PNRD21 back up. Column shifter would not allow me to shift into drive 1. All fixed now, only problem was I touched the exhaust manifold and burned the crap out of my forearm. Oh well it was worth it.

when im in D my shifter says im in 2
