Got a new truck!
Picked up a new truck yesterday, is't funny that when I logged onto this site, I went straight to the 2004-2008 section out of habit. I don't post much but I stop in to read pretty often and I can't say how much I have learned from this site.
Anyway, I picked up a 2011 F350 with the 6.2. Here is the truck I owned on Saturday when I woke up.

And she was sitting in my drive on Saturday evening!

Thats a nice truck you got there. How do you like the power of the 6.2 in it so far I know you haven't had it for long but in comparison to the f-150. I want to test one out because they are a lot cheaper without the diesel but I don't want one that feels gutless.
Thanks fella's! I am still trying to figure out how all of the gadgets work but my 1st impressions are as follows...
I simply cannot believe how silent this truck is going down the road - seriously. If you put your foot in it, it let's out a nice growl, but cruising.... it is amazing.
As far as power, I have not gotten into it yet, just trying to get to 1,000 miles so I can go get the camper out of storage but I will say that it feels plenty strong so far.
The other thing that is really surprising me so far is the fuel milage. I know that it is going off of the computer and I will verify when I fill it up for the 1st time, but Since I got it on Saturday, I've put 148 miles on it - mixed city and highway miles and it is sitting at 17.8 miles per gallon. That's better than I was getting with the F150! The big question is going to be when I find out how accurate (or inaccurate) the mpg calculator is.
