Black ***** near cup holders

Guys n Gals,

Does anyone know what the ***** shown in this picture are for? This is on a Saleen truck, but many of us with a Saleen truck have never seen these before. It looks like a factory install.

I'm willing to bet it isn't factory. Heck, it's even missing the cap on the top of the shifter. Probably tied to the gain on a subwoofer or some outside lights.

definitely tied into something. can see the green led's next to them lit up. feel brave enough to pop the console up and start tracing wires? prob gonna end up being the only way to see where they go to.

I'll agree with previous posters that they are aftermarket and have something to do with your audio system (gain/bass *****).

Popping up the console isn't hard at all. Lift the lid on your middle compartment and you will see a small hole towards the front. Pop your finger or a screwdriver in there and lift up....

yeah, not my truck guys. It was something some of us saw for sale. I would guess aftermarket. However, looking at the **** in the rear, it looks like it is slightly recessed. It looks like the mold for the lid is recessed around the ****. Plus, those LEDs are a REALLY clean install. The holes look like they are part of the factory mold. The ad didnt say anything about a sound system being installed.
