I'm looking for people that have put these on their truck already.

What did you use? A kit or order individual or custom made?

This is for a stock ride height and stock brakes.

I'd like to replace all 5 rubber brake lines.

Please post info on what you used and how it worked out for you.

What is it that you want to know? They're all the same so there's no need to buy the most expensive ones. I've had premade ones from Earl's, Russell's and from ProComp (not sure who the OEM is) are on my truck now, and back in the day, I made them msyelf using components. All you need is to confrim length, the correct fitting to the hardline and to make sure the banjo fitting on the other end has the correct angle to clear the caliper and the bleeder valve. That's it.

If you make your own, the best tool to cut the steel hose is a tool that looks like a miniature pipe cutter. It has a cutting wheel and rollers and you just tighten, twist, tighten, twist...etc. If you use dykes or wire cutter, the hose will pinch and the cut will be messy.

Well I wrote then what I still believe today. I also saw that someone recently posted a message asking if I had replaced all five hoses. The answer is "no". I did front and rears on my Tahoe, but on my Mustang and on my F150, I only did the fronts. The rear lines are long enough but the fronts needed new lines. Plus the greater majority of the stopping power is done with the front brakes and probably where most of the benefit would be felt.

Again, a good, cheap and easy mod, but dont expect mind blowing stopping power. I never felt it, but I'd do this mod again on my next ride.

I just searched Summitt and found "Russell Performance 693390" for '05+ F150's. I went to the Russell/Edlebrock website to confirm the application but that site is useless. Might be worth a call. If you cannot find the specific length you want, you may end up having to make your own.

Me? It looks like I'm S.O.L. (99 4x4 w/ 4-wheel discs) unless the Lightning kit will fit my fronts (but then I'd probably throw away the rear line?)
