That improvement is obtained with a brake fluid better quality

Hi all, some of you have used some brake fluid better quality, as MOTUL RBF 600, Castrol SRF etc. if FORD specifies that the truck 2007, must use DOT 3, Are these brake fluids will damage any part internal brake system? . "The improvement in brake fade is felt immediately, even could be said to be eliminated? . Please someone who can help in this regard. Those who have used some brake fluid higher quality: What do you recommend?. Thanks.

It is doubtful that you will be able to feel any kind of improvement with an upgraded brake fluid. If you wish to upgrade to a DOT 5 for example, you must completely flush out the entire system with alcohol before using DOT 5, because even the smallest amount left behind will cause a gelling in the DOT5.

If you wish to keep your hydraulic system "healthy", simply replace with clean fluid every few years. If your using the same type it is no big deal if you leave a bit of the old fluid behind. Brake fluid will attract water over time and it is this water that can cause brake fade due to the vapor formed as it attempts to turn to steam in the brake lines.
