You're an idiot for a couple reasons.

First off, you were racing on a public street, that is illegal.

Second, you are berating anybody who tries to tell you anything but what you want to hear.

well - It was obvious that he and I wanted to run hard when the light turned green. (yes we both could have recieved fines for what we did).
But many people on this forum have admitted to the same thing and haven't been flamed.
I realize it wasn't cool.......but we got away with a little immaturity this one time.

Second- I am not looking to be told anything .......wadsjust saying what occurred.........Period!

My father has an 04 1500 Dodge Hemi crew cab with slowmasters, and a cai and I drive it from time to time and that truck is one of the quickest trucks I've driven/been in. A lot quicker than my 06 F150. Now is it better, well thats arguable and not going to get into that. But our trucks are both in stock form, minus the exhaust and cai's but neither have tuners. Quickest I've been in is a 6.0L Powerstroke with the extreme tune, gutted cats, and straight piped with 3.73's. Def not the fastest but one of the fastest/quickest trucks I've been in.

I love my truck but it's no hemi beater. Even when it was tuned. That guy went home laughing at you, cause you were wearing a dress and dancing like a retard thinking you won. He must have had hemi badges on a v6 or 4.7 equipped truck.

stock 04-06 F-150's feel much more sluggish than 07-08's........but thats another conversation all together.

When a 5.4 is well tuned with 3.73's, stock small tires, CAI and exhaust (all custom tuned in conjunction with one another) by a good tuner.......it's a different ball of wax.

There is NO 2004 Dodge Hemi (stock or exhaust) in same configuration as my truck that will out pull me............unless it has a tuner and well tuned. That's my opinion....based on experience......having driven many of them.

I suspect there will be other well tuned 5.4 guys here that will chime in and agree........

I will agree with the statement in bold. My buddies 07 FX4 doesn't have the laggy throttle like my 04 model truck does but I can still outrun him considering he's a crew cab 4wd and i'm a crew cab 2wd. Both of our trucks are bone stock too.

Was his passenger 600 pounds? That might explain it.

Yep.

BTW, OP...managing a fleet is a position of significant responsibility, last time I checked - yer behaviour here indicates a dearth of same, and questionable judgment.

Hope yer superiors don't become aware of this, nor the implication that you race the other fleet trucks as well. I suspect they'd be less than pleased.

In closing - I live in the same province, so take it to a track next time. It may save someone else's loved ones, as the street is a conpletely uncontrolled environment for this sort of shenanigans. You embarass me, and all Canadians.
