I am new to this forum and have never owned a truck. I have two Mustangs and have owned a few others before so I am pretty comfortable with Ford engines and drivetrains. I have been thinking of doing a street truck build but cannot find a reg cab flareside truck with the 5.4L engine. Was this an option in the 2004-2008 body style. I really like the look of this truck. Thank you for the help.

Thanks for the reply. I still could not figure out if you can get this combo in 2wd? I failed to mention that in the first post. I have looked through tons of trucks for sale and cannot find this combo which made me wonder if they made a 5.4L Reg Cab 2wd with the flareside bed.

 

2004 you could get a regular cab short bed with a 5.4. You could also get a XL f150 with a 5.4. Plus XL trucks had the PTM bumper cover and chrome bumpers. Other than that I dunno.
