It's 5yrs/100k miles, whatever comes first. There should be coolant plugs in the block you can remove. pull off the hoses and flush them separately with the garden hose. Flush the coolant overflow tank with the garden hose. Flush the radiator and engine block with bottles of distilled water. Lather the coolant drain plugs in anti-seize and install them. Install the hoses. Fill with 50/50 motorcraft gold (zerex g-05 is the same thing). Make sure you use distilled water.

Either flush your used coolant down the toilet or take it into your local oil change/repair shop to pour into their tank.

I wouldn't bother flushing the coolant hoses, just replace them. I normally put in a new belt and hoses with the coolant change @ 100K miles. Cheap insurance.

Nobody is saying that you NEED to pay a dealer to change coolant. I do because I CHOOSE to. It's my money, I can easily afford to, and I'd rather not deal with proper old coolant disposal. You can't legally just wash that crap into the street or down the drain any more. I also don't trust most of the independent shops around here, most of them are a bunch of idiots.

I worked in dealerships probably at least 25 years of my career and if the service writers could get you to changer brake pads weekly and spark plugs every other week, they would have, because they were paid on commission.
Too bad the dealers you are used to are like that. The one here isn't. I know enough about vehicle maintenance to know that the guys here aren't like that. They are straight shooters.

I agree. My dealer has been very fair with me and if they do quote something I feel is too high, I do it myself or take it elsewhere.

the front and rear diffs arent really recomended to be servicable, but ill probably do them this summer, somewhere between 60-70k.

tcase fluid isnt recommended till 110 or something of the sort, but ill probably do that evey 60k, just because its 2 quarts of trans fluid and two plugs to pull.
Not sure where your getting the diffs aren't recommended to be servicable. I did mine at 49,000 just because I bought the truck with 44,000 and had no idea of the previous maintenance history. Here is what it looked like.

Front diff. new fluid on left, old fluid on right

And this was the transfer case. New on the left, old on right.
